Her debut album Abstract introduced her adventurous approach to jazz fusion and helped establish her as a distinctive voice in contemporary jazz.
Her music has been featured on SiriusXM Watercolors and across major streaming platforms, solidifying her as a respected voice in contemporary jazz. A Louisiana native, Hayden studied piano and flute under the mentorship of jazz clarinetist Alvin Batiste and flutist Kent Jordan, drawing further inspiration from icons such as Hubert Laws, Chick Corea, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Beyond the stage, Hayden has composed original music for HBO, CBS, Discovery Channel, Nickelodeon, VH1, BET, and Court-TV, bringing her creative voice to television and film audiences.
